KM TO PARTICIPATE IN 2ND ANNUAL HALFWAY TO HAZARD CHARITY TRAIL RIDE - 08.19.09

Krista Marie has been added to the bill of the 2nd Annual Halfway to Hazard Charity Trail Ride, August 22-23, 2009, in Crockettsville, Kentucky. Krista joins Tim McGraw, Keith Anderson, Dierks Bentley, Danielle Peck, Randy Houser and others for the concert and ATV trail ride, which benefits the Buckhorn Children's Center.

"I can't wait to participate in this event, because it combines two things I love to do most -- sing and ride," said Krista. "To be able to do those two things for a wonderful cause makes it that much more special."

As Krista honed her vocal and songwriting skills playing clubs at night, she fulfilled her need for speed by racing four-wheelers. An accident at the ATVA National Motocross Circuit just over a year ago almost ended her career and her life. Her doctors didn't expect her to walk, and no one expected her to heal fully enough to headline a concert at Loretta Lynn's Ranch during the MX National Championships just six weeks later. She defied the odds, walked on stage and gave the performance of her life.

Krista's "Tomboy" single, which she wrote with hit tunesmiths Rachel Proctor and Victoria Banks, hits radio airwaves August 31, 2009. Regular career updates and tour schedule can be found at www.kristamarie.net.
