KM TO PARTICIPATE IN TENNESSEE LIFESAVERS/LAW ENFORCEMENT CHALLENGE - 08.26.09

Krista Marie will perform a concert at the opening reception of the 22nd Annual Tennessee Lifesavers Conference 2009 and perform the National Anthem at the 5th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge in Nashville this week on Wednesday, August 26 and Friday, August 28, 2009, respectively.

Tennessee Lifesavers hosts around 400 law enforcement, prosecutors, judicial personnel, child passenger safety technicians, educators, highway safety advocates and members of the general public interested in learning more about highway safety issues. The conference goal is to develop strategies, build alliances and communicate agendas towards reducing the tragic toll of deaths and injuries on Tennessee's roadways.

The Law Enforcement Challenge is a competition designed to recognize and reward the best overall traffic safety programs across the State of Tennessee and across the country as judged by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Outstanding efforts of law enforcement agencies and officers will be honored. One department will be awarded a 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle outfitted for law enforcement patrol.

Earlier this year, Krista connected with Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Screamin' Eagle racing to make promotional appearances at H-D dealerships, NHRA events and participate in charity rides across the country on behalf of the storied brand and to support Harley-Davidson's effort to encourage women to ride. Krista, who rides a 2009 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle, recently partnered with the State of Tennessee to record motorcycle safety public service announcements, which will begin hitting radio airwaves this fall.

"Our law enforcement personnel don't get enough credit for the work they do helping keep us safe on the road," said Krista. "Riding is a huge part of my life, and getting the word out about motorcycle safety can really save lives."

Following the Lifesavers Conference, Krista will head to Rochester, New York to promote her new single "Tomboy" single and participate in the WBEE-FM charity motorcycle ride.
